More summer fun...

This year the kids helped us plant a garden.  We chose lots of kid friendly foods- peas, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes and of course pumpkins!  This night they were helping their dad weed and pull out the peas that we just got finished harvesting.  They love doing anything with their dad even pull weeds!

Earlier that day Michael had a birthday party to go to and Kate was feeling a little sad she couldn't go so we pulled out the play make-up to cheer her up.  She was especially exited because I let her try doing her own nails for the first time.  I'm thinking she definitely has a future as a make-up artist....(At least for all the other three year olds in the neighborhood!)
