Finally a new family picture!

I love this one of my three little cuties!!!

Trying to catch up a little bit!!  For spring break this year we headed to California to Disneyland! We had a great time.  We spent the first day at the beach and then five days at Disneyland.  We could have stayed a lot longer but we had tons of fun!

One of my favorite things of this trip:  one morning we were waiting by Toon Town when it was about to open.  Minnie Mouse came out and grabbed my kids hands and took us to her house showed us around and be the first ones to go through her house that day.  It was so fun.  She kept giving Emily kisses (wish I had a picture!) and Emily keeps telling us ever since, "Minnie gives me lots of kisses!"  It was such a fun trip.  We can't wait to go back!

Waiting...

As we're entering in our 30th month of "waiting" for a baby I've had a lot of thoughts going through my head.  I think of so many of my family and friends who enter their 9th month of pregnancy and are uncomfortable and miserable and though I don't discount how they must feel (not that I can relate) I find myself feeling a lot like they must lately.  Not physically hurting, but emotionally so ready to meet our new little one!  A new thing this time around that is especially hard is having to watch my kids hurt too.  They want a new baby brother or sister as bad as Jeremy and I want a new addition to our family.  Every day one or the other asks when will we be getting a new baby.  It's so hard to have no answer for them.  It seems as if all their little friends lately have been getting new babies in their houses and my kids love holding and playing with these babies.  They are so cute with them-- is it possible for kids to be baby hungry???  They will be incredible big siblings!  I'm so excited for the day we can become a family of five and watch the love grow even more in our family.  We've ready for the sleepless nights, the round-the-clock cuddling, and the amazing feeling that comes with having a newborn in the house.  As much as we love adoption the not knowing and not being able to plan is the only thing that is so hard...  Will it be next week, next month, next year or tomorrow?  We are ready!  We do know that it will happen when it's supposed to but sometimes it's just so hard.  We had to wait so long before we got Michael and as soon as he was placed in our arms we forgot how much we had hurt during the "waiting" process.  A lot like I'm guessing other mothers feel after enduring labor pains and then having the baby placed in their arms- you forget the pain.  With Kate, we were so lucky to only have to wait about 10 months- almost a normal pregnancy.  We are so ready to love, spoil, and add another sweet little spirit to our family!  But I guess for now we'll keep waiting and look forward to the day that we have another sweet baby placed in our arms and we can forget the "waiting pain" again.

St.Patrick's Day

This year the kids and I headed to Grandma and Grandpa's for the weekend since Daddy had to go to an annual work conference on Saturday.  It happened to be St. Patrick's Day on Saturday so we got to move the fun to Grandma's house!  Michael was sure he was going to catch a leprechaun this year.  He set a trap before going to bed.
In the morning they found the leprechaun had left a trail of gold and green candies and a bunch of green prizes but no leprechaun in the trap.  He did however answer Michael's note and had "accidentally" dropped two pieces of gold one for both Michael and Kate.  That sneaky leprechaun also turned the milk green!  Grandpa and Grandma made us a yummy green pancake breakfast complete with the green milk.
Then the cousins came over and we all decorated St. Patrick's Day cookies.

Here's Michael sampling one of his...

Hope everyone had a great St. Patrick's Day!

This Poor Boy...

So we found out three years ago that our little man has asthma.  Before this we knew that he was allergic to cats but after a visit to a livestock show to watch my sister's girls selling their pigs we ended up in the emergency room with a boy who couldn't breathe at all.
(Picture Taken Three Years Ago)
Since then it's been well controlled and he usually does pretty good.  But, every Spring when the allergies hit our poor boy gets hit horribly!  We're so thankful that it's usually only allergies that triggers his asthma but we hate when he doesn't feel good.  This morning he called me from school not breathing to well so we headed to the Doctor to make sure he was okay.  Luckily we just got sent home with some new allergy medication and hopefully our boy will be back to normal soon!  Actually since he's out in the backyard playing basketball with his sister I think we're almost there!

Disney On Ice & A Fun Weekend

We went to Disney on Ice Friday night.  It was so funny though because we just went to disneyland in Oct. so when I told Kate we were going to Disney on Ice she was super excited- almost to excited.  Friday morning I asked her if she was excited to go see the Disney show and she said, "Wait, a minute. It's just a show? There are no rides?"  Even though it wasn't what Kate was expecting I think she had a great time!  Here's our little Toy Story "Alien" showing her daddy something cool!
We stayed over night at my parents condo and spent the morning going on walks and enjoying the awesome spring-like weather we're having!  I love the picture by the flowers because Michael said, "mom look at these pretty new flowers Dad should take our picture by them!"
