Happy Birthday!

Look who's FINALLY four!  Birthdays are a big deal around our house.  I've heard of people who only celebrate with friend parties every few years but at our house we feel like 365 days is long enough to wait for a party!  Kate decided to have a Star Wars party this year- (Yes, I think all her little boy friends in the neighborhood influenced this decision!)  Her daddy dressed up as a Jedi and held a Jedi/Princess training camp for all the little cuties at the party! He also came up with this idea for her cake and with just a little help from me made this awesome light saber cake!

Since her actual birthday was on Sunday she got to celebrate for two days.  Her friend party was on Saturday and had a family party on Sunday.  She was so excited to open her presents when she woke up.

She's so excited that she's now old enough to play soccer!  She's such a sweetheart and we are so blessed that she's a part of our family.  Here are our two sweethearts all ready for church...
