Jeremy and Amanda

Jeremy and I met when he was a Senior in High School and I was a Junior. We dated for a year and a half before he left on a mission for our church for two years. I finished high school and went to college while he was away. When he got home it only took us a month to decide this was the real thing and we were engaged shortly after and married four months later! We've now been married for 12 years- Wow! that went fast. We both graduated from college- me in Elementary Education and Jeremy in Business. I worked as a Kindergarten teacher for 2 1/2 years (I was lucky enough to be able to be a stay-at-home mom as soon as we adopted our little boy). Jeremy is working in purchasing and loving his job. We love spending time together. We had the unique situation of dating for four years and then being married for five before we were blessed with children. As much as we longed to add children to our family we grew so much during that time and really learned to appreciate each other and have lots of fun times together. When we were faced with infertility issues we immediately turned to adoption. We knew that we wanted to be parents and are open to what ever way it is Heavenly Father wants to send them into our home. We have had two incredible experiences with adoption so far when we were blessed with Kate and Michael and are so thankful for the way we are able to build our family!
